“ It would be an offence to offer less than five stars after having two such amazing dining experiences in a row. I don't frequent RGB, because money, but when I do it's always an immaculate show. First up, I don't love the layout. That weird wall of wine, and the confusing entrance, aren't my favourite. The seating and decor could do with an update (how did someone spill wine on the lampshade all the way up there?!) but I don't massively care about that. It's something that would top it all off, but the five stars all go to the food and service. What ever you do, order the half lobster and steak to share. I mean, arrive with someone to share it with, but that's the thing you need. Sure, it's messy, but you signed up for something well worth the buttery, garlicky slather. I've had this about three times now and it's been delicious on each and every occasion. I also highly recommend the chargrilled asparagus as a starter. Perfectly seared and light if you're about to devour some steak. That steak, tho. Mmm hmm. The staff are always excellent and have personality. They're quality and not stuffy. If you're good at life admin, which I am not, you should sign up for one of their it's-not-a-credit-card-but-looks-like-it membership things. I still haven't activated mine, but life. Life is hard and life is busy. Love it. Might have to go back real soon. ”

“ I have to say, for me it's (almost) all about the food. I had a 35 day, dry aged, off the bone Ribeye - medium rare, creamed spinach with the stilton butter. The creamed spinach was nicely done but on the small side (for £3.95). The steak didn't taste as nutty as I'd was expecting. In fact I'd wondered if the waiter had misheard me and brought the 28 day. The steak was fine, the salt could have been better distributed, but it was fine. I sat opposite the kitchen and got to watch the food being brought out. They had a beautiful poached egg on top of asparagus and the salads looked really fresh. I'll be back to try something less beefy. I really like the space, its modern, but still pulls off feeling comfy. The real reason I'll be back was the wait staff. I said I wondered if the waiter misheard me. From what I saw of the staff they are very well run and are treated well (always a good sign). ”

“ Very nice, big sunny terrace! The inside of the place looks cool and is well decorated.. About the food.. Quote from my dinner date: "probably the best salad since a long time; the Stilton salad" I had the risotto with haddock, perfectly cooked and served on hot plate! " one thing though, sometimes the service isn't that fast, therefore 4 stars! If I ever end up in Leeds again I'll surely visit this one again! ”

“ A meal for two with a bottle of wine came to roughly £150 and it was excellent. We both came away very satisfied the service and food we're both of a very high standard. It does get very busy so its probably worth going a little earlier than you want to eat. ”

“ Had a great birthday meal here and the waiter was more than helpful. The steak I had was so well cooked it was literally falling off the knife as I cut through it and the cheesecake was to die for. Just a great shame about the prices really is not reasonable for the amount served in comparison with other eateries I have experienced. So to summarise 10/10 for the service, 10/10 for the food and a 1/10 for the prices! ”
